Future Trips

1.1Phil Steele will skipper a weekend sail on the PYC yacht ‘Quartette’ on January 24/25th. Will anyone interested please contact Phil (01278 683192) – there are two places available. Note that the PYC winter weekend rate is now £35/day.

1.2Gordon Ogden and Chris Watts will skipper both PYC yachts for a midweek sail on Monday February 16th – Wednesday 18th. There are two places still available for this; please contact Gordon (01275 462473) if you would like to go. The PYC midweek rate remains £20/day

1.3Gordon and Chris had hoped to arrange another two-boat PYC yacht sail during March, but Quartette is fully booked for RYA course training. Spellbinder is available, and Gordon is planning to sail on Monday March 23 – 25th. Chris will know in January if he is available for other dates in March (possibly Monday 16 – 18th). However, as eight members have already said they are interested, these are potentially full, depending on final dates.

1.4Alan Howells and Jeff Birkin will skipper a two-boat charter from Hamble in mid-May next year, specifically for skippering experience for those aiming for RYA Yachtmaster. We already have ten interested in this, including some necessary ‘non-skippering’ crew, so it is potentially fully booked and viable.
