Future Trips

Alan Howells will skipper a week’s cross-Channel cruise from Plymouth in August, around the late Bank Holiday weekend, Friday August 22 – Friday 29th. Due to a cancellation there is now one place available on this trip at a cost of £195.50. The first leg will be to St Malo where Jeff Woolmer will join the crew, then possibly to Guernsey. Will anyone who would like to take this place please contact Jock

1.2After last year’s successful training weekends Alan Howells will skipper another sail training trip on the weekend of October 11 – 12, probably from Plymouth. This is fully booked and details will be confirmed at the August meeting. A first payment of £50 is now needed.

1.4Jeff Birkin’s power training trip, planned for September 19 – 21 is now doubtful, due to problems with the Solent-based boat we had hoped to use. We will look at alternatives and will consider it at the August meeting.

1.5Gordon Ogden and Chris Watts will skipper both PYC yachts ‘Spellbinder’ and ‘Quartette’ for a midweek sail on Monday November 17th – Wednesday 19th. There are two or three places available – please let us know if you are interested.
