We welcome new member Peter Newland (who was actually a member some years ago, sailing with us in 2011).

1. Future Trips

1.1Ian Collins will skipper the GSA Jeanneau SO37 from Largs on the Firth of Clyde for a week on the west coast of Scotland on Thursday August 24th - 31st. There are two places still available, which are also being offered to other GSA members.

1.2Ian will also skipper a ten-day cruise from Neyland to southern Ireland then returning to Pembroke via the Scilly isles on September 18th - 29th. This is now fully booked.

2. Recent trips

At the July meeting we had reports from Gordon Ogden (sailing from La Trinité), Bob Buchanan (sailing in Mallorca) and Phil Steele who skippered the GSA Solent boat ‘Ocean Flame’ IV for Geoff Norwood’s skipper assessment practice.

We also have Julia Wallace’s first report of this year’s Scottish cruise on ‘Aremiti’, which is attached as a separate PDF file.
