Future Trips
1.1Ian Collins will take one of Plymouth Sailing School’s Bavarias (probably the 34 ‘Cleo’) for a weekend trip on July 22 – 24. (Some members had asked for a trip in early July, but this is the only available date.) This is now fully booked. The cost will be £68 per person; no advance payment is needed, Ian will discuss the arrangements at the meeting on July 11th.
2.News and Notices
2.1BSA Facebook group.
To augment the BSA website, especially with a view to attracting new (younger!) members, Kath has set up a Facebook group. After a trial period it is intended to make this publicly accessible. At present it is closed group which members can access by logging on to Facebook and making Kath Liddiard your friend. Please try it and let us have any comments.
3.Recent Trips
At the June meeting there were three reports. Brian Adams described a ‘bad day / good day’ weekend from Plymouth, and Becky Goddard reported on a week in Mallorca, skippered by Bob Buchanan. Finally Gordon Ogden described the charter from La Trinité in south Brittany which he skippered in a very calm week in June.
