Future Trips
1.1Alan Howells will skipper a weekend from Plymouth on June 6 – 8. This is fully booked and paid, and the crew contact information has been sent to all crew.
1.2Round the Island and Helford – l’Aber Wrac’h races. Three charters, all fully booked, have been arranged. These are:
1) A practice weekend for the Round the Island race on June 13-15.
2) The race on June 21 (charter from Thursday evening the 19th – Sunday 22nd).
3) A cruise from Hamble to Falmouth, June 22-26, the l’Aber Wrac’h race on June 27/28, and a cruise back to Hamble by July 3rd. These are now fully paid, and crew information for the RtI practice and race will be sent soon.
1.3Alan has also proposed a week’s cross-Channel cruise from Plymouth in August, around the late Bank Holiday week, probably Friday August 22 – Friday 29th. We have four names for this at present, plus one who may be able to join in France. We really need one more to make this viable – an email to all members recently had no positive response, so this is a last call for anyone else interested. A decision will be made at the meeting on June 9th.
1.4After last year’s successful sail and power training weekends Alan and Jeff are offering to skipper another one of each in the autumn. We have more than enough names of people interested at present, although this may change when we have definite dates. All those who expressed interest have been asked to give their availability in September and early October to enable the skippers to propose firm dates.

3.Recent Trips
At the May meeting we had a report from Ian Collins on a weekend from Plymouth which was a replacement of an earlier trip which came to an early sudden halt with a net around the prop off Plymouth. Bob Buchanan reported on a Solent outing which he skippered on Lady Emma. These reports follow:
